Shiny Happy FFF meets Sketchy Saturday @ Club Anya...

Good day Everyone, and thanks for joining me for todays very cheery post.  I thought i'd share with your the card i made for this weeks FFF Challenge over at The Greeting Farm, this weeks challenge is to make a Shiny Happy Sunshine Sendoff card to wish Marie & Jess loads of luck at this weeks CHA.

I decided to use my HG Peace stamp (as she hadn't seen ink yet), I stamped her with memento black ink, and coloured her with my prismacolour pencils and OMS, i then cut her out and added a little glitter glue to the centre of her flowers.  After leaving her to dry overnight, i turned my attention to my layout, i didn't have a clue what i was going to do, but had my papers chosen; Then i saw the Saturday Sketch challenge @ Club Anya & Friends and thought it would be the perfect combination.

I followed the sketch pretty closely, layering my patterned paper to give it a bit more depth.  I added a piece of ribbon through a ribbon brad, which i topped off with a prima flower, gem, and sparkly brad centre.  As the finishing touches i added three flower gems along the bottom of the card, and a pretty 3D butterfly sticker to the top.

I certainly think i met the challenge, as it's a Very bright, happy card; really not sure about all the orange and yellow, two colours i don't use an awful lot.  But i like the overall effect, one of those cards that makes you smile :)

Thank you for visiting, and make sure you check out The Greeting Farm Blog today for a truly wonderful free digi.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend
