and your dreams will come true! Well that's what all the good fairytales say. Today my wish was to make something pretty, and this digistamp from The Greeting Farm was the obvious choice, this is the Spring Fairy from the new collection of Fairies which are being released as digistamps at The Greeting Farm tomorrow. I love every single one of these Fairies, they all have the most expressive faces, full of character and super cute, just the sort of image i love working with.
After selecting which Fairy to work with, i selected my paper, this paper came from a 'Spring Time' set so was perfect for this card. I decided to be brave and take the Diedrich Dare, which was a super fun one today, this week it was Madelynn's turn to set the dare, and she's dared us all to make an easel card. I made my easel card base from some lime pearlescent card i have in my stash, and changed the dimensions to make a slightly bigger card, this being 5 inch square. I kept this card fairly simple, as i wanted the main focus to be the gorgeous fairy. I used my promarkers and sakura stardust pens to colour her in, and added a dotty border to the card with a koh-i-noor pen. I used a circle punch to cut the corners of the papers and as a finishing touch added a pretty yellow paper rose to each corner. Oh i nearly forgot the 'Make a Wish' sentiment comes from the new Anya Say's set of stamps available at The Greeting Farm.
I quite like this card, but i can't decide if it needs anything else. I asked my DH and he said, no it's fine, infact you could do without the roses!!! What do you think? I would really appreciate your comments.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and read my ramblings, i really appreciate it.
Enjoy the rest of your day
