Crazy 4 Challenges with Limited Supplies..

Today i'd like to share with you a couple of cards i made for a couple of challenges; i love taking part in online challenges, i find them really useful when it comes to creating my next project.  I have a wonderful collection of stamps and crafting goodies, and find myself spoilt for choice sometimes, so i find online challenges help me to focus my attention, and actually create something, rather than sitting and looking at all the possibilities.

One of my favourite challenges is the Limited Supplies Challenge which is posted every friday on Splitcoaststampers, this weeks challenge was fun, and not that limited.  The only limitations we had, were that we had to create 2 cards using the same main image and colour scheme, but with different layouts.  I had great fun with these cards.

For both cards i used the 'Me Time' Anya set from The Greeting Farm, and gorgeous papers from Papermania's Boutique Range.  As soon as i saw these papers i imagined them as wallpapers, so thought they were wonderful to create a lovely bathroom scene for Anya. I also used my new Martha Stewart Around the Page Punches on these cards, i love these punches, just wish they were cheaper so i could get more, lol. I kept the rest of my embellishments to a minimum, as it was a limited supply challenge so i didn't want to go over board.  I added gems and a secondary stamped image to one card, and paper roses and some hand drawn swirls to the other.  I used coloured pencils and odourless spirits to colour my images, and as a finishing touch added some glitter glue to the bubbles in the bath.

Nearly forgot to mention the second challenge these cards both fit into, and that is this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges weekly challenge, this week we were instructed to get punch happy, and that's exactly what i did with my border and corner punches.

Thanks for looking

Suzi you never cease to amaze me with your wonderful creations, you are truly inspirational. Both cards are absolutely brilliant and the difference between the 2 cards when only using one stamp is sensational, well done.
