It's Friday so that means it's time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm, and this week it's a great sketch designed by Cindy Haffner.
I'm loving my new 'My Guy Ian' set of stamps, and have been having great fun playing around with them, however i came across one problem, i don't have any Miss Anya's in my collection yet, and i've been dying to make a card with them as a couple on. So i improvised, and decided to see what would happen if i altered Ian, it's amazing what a pair of eyes, and longer hair will do. I'm really please how 'Anya' turned out.
I stamped both images with memento ink and coloured them with my prismacolour pencils, and blended the colour with some ordourless thinners. I added the eyes and details to the hair and faces using my letraset fineliner. The background papers are from DCWV Retro Stack, i really like this paper and find it's great for masculine cards, or cards to suit both genders. The sentiment is from K&Co, i found a box of quotes in my stash and decided it was a good time to start using them. Ian and Anya and the sentiment are both raised on foam pads to add some dimension to the card.
I do love how easy it is to alter TGF stamps, amazing how a few pen marks can make each stamp looks so different, makes them so versatile, and such fun to play with. I'm loving my new 'Miss Anya' but i know i'll have to get my hands on the real sets soon :)
