This weeks Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm is another brilliant sketch designed by DT Coordinator Jessica Diedrich.
I'm trying to be a good girl at the moment and us up some of the many papers i have in my collection, so i chose these papers from the DCWV Retro Stack, along with this lovely brown card i got from my local paper mill. I'd printed a few digistamps out the other day, so i decided to use the Dorothy Anya Digistamp for this card. I coloured Dorothy with my letraset promarkers to coordinate with the colours of the paper, and I'm quite pleased at how she turned out :) I cut Dorothy and Toto out with a craft knife as I'm find that alot easier to use than scissors, especially in tight spots.
I wrapped some red twine around the dp before sticking it to the card base I'd created, then i used my circle nesties to die cut the circles, these were mounted on the card with foam pads, to give it some dimension, then i did the same with Dorothy and Toto.
To finish the card i added the Enjoy sentiment from the Happy Chef set.
This colour combination is a little out of my comfort zone, not sure if i overdid the dark background paper, might have looked better with something a bit lighter and brighter. I'm really pleased with how Dorothy turned out, my colouring is definitely improving, so I'm a happy bunny :)
Time to go find another challenge to do :)
