This weeks technique challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com was the faux grid technique, which is lovely and simple. All you do is stamp your images on your paper, then draw lines in to create a grid for the background; colour some of the squares to match the colours of your main images and add a sentiment. A lovely quick and simple technique, with lovely results.
I used the 'Mindy's Zoo' set of stamps from Autumn Leaves, i'd had my eye on this set for a while, and had seen it online in various outlets, but hadn't bought it cos it was full price, so when i saw it on auction on ebay the other week for less than half price, i was well in there, lol.
