A Wonderful Weekend and A Couple of Cards

I had a wonderful time this weekend, as my cousin came to visit us, i hadn't seen her for 11 years and we have only been in contact since the beginning of the year. We had a brilliant time, i haven't laughted so much in ages, it was like we'd never lost contact. The only downside was she was only here for the weekend, but she is coming to visit for a whole week in October, so we can't wait.

We even managed to find a little time to do some crafting. Kyla needed a Father's Day and a birthday card for her Dad, so we got crafting, and here's what we made...

I adapted Hello Ian, from The Greeting Farm, and made him into a golfer, this is the first time i've used this stamp, and i really like the end result, such a cute guy and suitable for any age group.
Kyla made the forever young card, using the Neverland set of stamps from The Greeting Farm; it's a standing joke that her Dad's got a bit of a Peter Pan Complex, so when she saw these stamps she had to use them.
It was lovely to have someone else to craft with, and we both had alot of fun; i think i might convert Kyla into a crafter sooner rather than later, lol.
