Passion for Promarkers is a brand new challenge blog, specifically aimed at Promarker owners, or should i say Promarker Addicts, as once you've tried them your addicted.
The first challenge is an opened theme challenge, you can make anything you wish as long as you use Promarkers on it, nice and simple.
Well i've finally decided on my entry, and here it is...
It's my favourite card that i've made for quite sometime. I'm addicted to The Greeting Farm stamps, i used Mermaid Anya and Surfer Ian (minus his legs and surfboard, and added a fishtail), i love these stamps as they are very good quality red rubber and give you lots of space for colouring, and i do love colouring.
I used Black Memento Ink to stamps the images and coloured them with the following Promarkers - Blush, Dusky Pink, Apricot, Orange, Burnt Orange, Mandarin, Red, Carmine, Lime Green, Olive, Pale Yellow, Saffron, and Gold.
I used a pale green glitter card blank i had in my stash, along with orange background paper and letters from scrapbooking kit i purchased ages ago, the dark green paper has lovely embossed gold flecks in it which reminded me of the movement of water. The die cut letters had a white background which was far too bright for this card, so i used my pale yellow Promarker to apply a layer of colour over them, toning down the white. The finishing touch for the card was some lime green gems for Anya's hair and Ian's necklace.
I had great fun with this challenge, and can't wait for the next Passion for Promarker Challenge.
Thanks for looking
