I love Promarkers is a new group on Facebook, and is very friendly and welcoming. A great place to chat about promarkers, how to use them and to get inspiration from other crafters. As a mini challenge to get us all creating, Sharon challenged us to make a card using promarkers directly onto our stamps; a technique i wasn't sure about, as promarkers dry very quick and are alcohol based; but it worked a treat. You have to work quickly but can get some lovely results. Here's my challenge card....
I used a set of Frida Kahlo stamps that i bought off ebay ages ago. I created a background sheet using the smaller of the 2 stamps, and then stamped the large stamp for the centrepiece. I added a little extra colour to her face and blended with my blender pen, and also blended in a couple of other areas to give the frame a slightly distressed look. I finally edged both pieces of card with promarker, and stuck them onto a card blank.
This was a lovely quick card, but looks like it took alot longer to make than it did :)
