Happy Halloween with Oddball Art Stamps

Happy Halloween to you all, I hope you all have lots of wicked magical fun today, lots of Treats and not too many Tricks!!

My card today features a brand New Image from Oddball Art Stamps, along with an old favourite. I hope you don't scare easily, as they are a little spooky!

Here's my card;

The new image featured on my card is the background image entitled 'Grave and Bone Yard Scene' image #349, here is a picture of it after I coloured it;
After i'd coloured and trimmed my image, I diecut the bats out of it using a Sizzix Thinlits die, before layering it onto black card stock, and a white card blank.

I then added the gorgeous 'Bride of Frankenstein'image #78,  I coloured her, ran her through my Xyron adhesive machine then fussy cut her before adding to my card.

All my images are coloured with a mix of Letraset Promarkers, Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens, and Marvy Alcohol Pens.  I'm very happy to say the ink in all these pens seems to work very well together, which is a nice surprise, as not all brands of alcohol ink/markers will work with each other, you can get some nasty bleaching and weird blotches.

Oddball Art Stamps - October New Release

Today I'm delighted to share with you a new creation featuring a brand New Image from Oddball Art Stamps,  I hope you don't scare easily, as they are a little spooky!

Here's my card;
The new image featured on my card is the background image entitled 'Dripping ' image #346; I had a wonderful time colouring this image to create a gooey looking background.  The Eyes are from an older image 'Bloody Thirsty Becky' image #122.  I love being able to take elements from different images and combine them into a new project.  The Eye image is a wonderful bonus with Image#122 but by printing it out in different sizes i've made it the main focal point of this card.

To give some contrast to my project I used black cardstock from which I die cut various sized circles.  I then layered this over my background image creating windows.

I then added my Eye images along with a Dymo label sentiment.

That's all from me for today. Want to see what the rest of the Design Team have done with the new images, make sure you visit Lizzy's Blog where she'll introduce you to all the new images. Left of Center Creative Challenge with Bloobel Stamps

Time for a new challenge over at the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog, and with it being October we are embracing Halloween all month, after all one can never get enough Halloween!

This week we are sponsored by the awesome Bloobel Stamps

Here's my card,
For my card I used the gorgeous 'Sweet Zombie' image.  I had great fun colouring this image with my Letraset Tria and ProMarkers.

I kept the rest of the card very simple, as it's such a wonderful image I didn't think it need much adding too it.  I used Yellow and Lilac Cardstock for my matts to pick out the colours from the image.  I decided to add a torn edge to the bottom of the image and the layers it's on.  I went round the edge of all the card stock with a lilac and then a purple ink pad.   To finish my card I added a stamped sentiment from a set of monster stamps i found in my stash.

That's all from me for today, don't forget to hop over to the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog to check out the rest of the Design Teams gorgeously spooky creations.

Here's my card for today;
I used the super cute 'Tworet, The Mummy Girl' image #87b.  She's coloured with Letraset Tria and ProMarkers.  I decided to play around with a different skintone, and came up with this pretty pink and lilac palette with the addition of a little aqua; Not your typical Mummy colour scheme, but I love how she turned out.  It gave me the opportunity to give her beautiful dark purple hair and eyes too.

I kept the rest of my card fairly simple, using some pale patterned paper along with lilac and white card stock and white bias binding.

Left of Center Creative Challenge #150 - The East Wind

Today I'd like to share with you my card for the 150th Challenge over at the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog, I must apolgize for being late with my post, I hope you'll think my card was worth the wait.

This week we are sponsored by The East Wind
Our challenge them is Halloween

Here's my card;
I had a wonderful time colouring the amazing 'Lucy Loo Glamzombie' image, isn't she awesome.  I adore the image from The East Wind, but i think Lucy Loo is my favourite of Unky's character stamps.

I coloured my image with Letraset Tria and Promarkers, with some white gel pen for highlights.  My background papers are from DCWV's The Bewitched Stack.  I altered the sentiment a little by adding some Tim Holtz Label Letter Stickers.

To embellish my card I added a selection of flowers from my stash, along with a plastic spider (had to add a little creepy into it!)

I do love my Zombie Witch Card, I hope you like her too, and feel inspired to join in our challenge, you've still got nearly 3 days to play along with our challenge.  Don't forget to hop over to the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog to check out the awesome creations from the rest of the Design Team, along with some extra special Guest Designers from The East Wind Design Team.
