Here's my card for today;
I used the gorgeous 'Milla's Dance' image #294 for my card. She is coloured with Letraset Tria and Promarkers with some white gel pen for highlights.
I've added pearls to her tutu and hair bow.

I used the same Letraset Tria and Promarkers to create my circle patterned background.  I added Pearls for a little extra dimension and bling.  I doodles around my circles and the edge of the page to tie it all together.

Spookilicous New Releases with Oddball Art Stamps

Today I'm delighted to share with you a couple of new creations featuring brand New Images from Oddball Art Stamps,  I hope you don't scare easily, as they are a little spooky!

Here's my first card;
I've used the Skeleton from image #311 and put him into the Spooky Frame that is image #314 I love the details in the Spooky Frame, especially the eyeballs!  My image is coloured with Letraset Tria and Promarkers, with the addition of some white gel pen for highlights; along with some Green Glitter Sparkle Pen on the Skeleton's eyes and the Halloween sentiment.

To embellish this card I added some gorgeous green satin leaf trim along with some paper flowers to which I added googly eyes.

My second card is even spookier;
I had great fun playing with the different elements in the Spooky Garden Set #340; this set is jam packed with different elements, letting you creating your very own Spooky Garden, you could even combine it with the Spooky Frame, as they coordinate perfectly.

To create my scene, I created a document in Photoshop (any good graphics software will work) to which I added my garden elements.  Can you see what i've tried to create?

I wanted to create a spooky atmosphere on this card, so created a night time background to my scene.  Using my Letraset Tria and Promarkers to create a night sky and long grassy background.  I then coloured the rest of my image and added some white gel pen for highlights and accents.

I layered my image onto some black card, before adding it to an 8 x 8inch card blank on which I'd layered black card and yellow corrugated card for contrast.

I used my Dymo label maker to create my sentiment sticker.

Left of Center Creative Challenge #148 - Four legged Creatures with Nikki Burnette

It's time for a new challenge over at the Left of Center Creative Challenge blog, so time to embrace our dark side and create something wickedly creep and offbeat.

Our sponsor this week is the awesome Spellbinding Stamps by Nikki Burnette

Our theme this week is '4 legged Creatures' or LOC

Here's my project;

For my project I used the gorgeous 'Angelique' the Vampire Fairy by Nikki Burnette. She's coloured with Letraset Tria and Promarkers with a little white gel pen for highlights.

As my image has so much wonderful detail, I kept the rest of my card fairly simple.  I used Lime Green Pearlescent Card for my base, to which I added some dark blue patterned paper from DCWV's Everyday Essentials Paper Pad.

To add some texture to my card I added a piece of fuschia sequinella to my background before adding my image.

For my sentiment I used my Dymo Label maker with some orange tape, circles punched from the background paper and lime card stock.  I layered these all together and added to my card.

For a final bit of bling I added some pink pearls to my sentiment circles and image.

I hope i've inspired you to play along with our challenge.  Don't forget to visit the Left of Center Creative Challenge Blog to get even more inspiration from our awesome Design Team.

Oddball Art Stamps September Blog Challenge - Circles

Today it is my pleasure to share with you my creation as part of the Oddball Art Stamps Design Team.  I adore Lizzy Love's Art , can't believe I get to work with her wonderful digital stamps as part of the Design Team, I'm one very lucky lady.

We have a new challenge on the Oddball Art Stamps Blog today, Our theme is 'Circles' - make a card featuring Circles.

Here's my creation;

I used the gorgeous 'Jasmyn (#67b)' for my card today, isn't she pretty! I coloured her with Letraset Tria and Promarkers and a little white gel pen for highlights.

I coloured her to coordinate with my patterned paper, which comes from DCWV's Retro Paper Pack, one of my favourite paper packs, so happy to have duplicates of it in my stash.

I matted my patterned paper onto some brown card stock before adding to my 8 x 8 inch card blank.  I created a border of Turquoise ribbon and green bias binding along the centre of my card.  I die cut my image and some brown card stock and layer this over my ribbon border.

I also die cut some smaller circles out of white and brown card stock, I layered these together and added a pearl border and gem centre.  I added a pearl border to my image before adding my image and circle embellishments to my card.

Want to see more cards inspired by our 'Circles' theme, then hop over to the Oddball Art Stamps Blog and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of our design team.  You'll all find instructions on how to join in our challenge and win some awesome Oddball Art Stamps images.

More Mixed Media Challenge Blog - September Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over at the More Mixed Media Challenge Blog.  As always our theme is 'Anything Goes' with an optional colour addition, this month we would like to see Brown on your project.

I've made a mixed media card for this months project;
 I used the gorgeous 'Tanith' (image#101B) from Oddball Arts Stamps.  You might recognise her as I used her on a 'Blue' themed card last month for the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.  I had lots of fun colouring her in a completely different colour palette this time.

Tanith is coloured with Letraset Tria and Promarkers with some white gel pen for highlights.  I them cropped my image and layered it onto some brown card which i then edged with Versamark ink and Wild Mustard Distress Embossing Powder.

My background paper is from Making Memories 'Just Chillin' paper pack. I layered this onto brown card before adding to my 8 x 8 inch card base.  I then took a couple of pieces of yellow corrugated card and splodged on some pink fluourscent acrylic paint, I also added some onto my card background.  I then added more Wild Mustard Distress Embossing Powder, before adhering all these elements to my card.  I also cut a heart from brown card, added paint and embossing powder before layering on one of the corrugated card panels.

To embellish my card I added some Pink Wooden Buttons, and a sentiment using Alphabet and Word Stickers from Simple Stories.

I hope i've inspired you to break out your inks and paints, to have some messy fun creating something for our challenge.  If you want more inspiration hop over to the More Mixed Media Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous creations from the rest of our Design Team.

DICC #001 and Delicious Doodles September Challenge

It's the 1st of September which means two things, time for a new challenge over at the Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog and the relaunch of the Desert Island Crafts Challenge Blog.

Delicious Doodles are sponsoring our first challenge over at the Desert Island Crafts Challenge Blog, so I've been able to combine both challenges into one project.

Delicious Doodles Challenge Theme this month is Orange and Brown
and
Here is the Itinerary for the Desert Island Crafts Challenge;
I created a Halloween Gift Bag for these challenges, in shades of Orange and Brown, using the wonderful Bat Cupcake from the Halloween Cupcakes Collection from Delicious Doodles.

I used numbers 1, 3, 4, 9 & 10 from the DICC Itinerary

Here's a close up;

I coloured my image with Letraset Tria & Promarkers, along with Faber-Castell PITT Pens and White Gel Pen.  My cupcake is topped with glossy collage pauge, orange mica fragments from Stampendous and Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir.

That's all from me for now, I hope you'll be inspired to join in both of the challenges I've featured today, as you can win some gorgeous images in both challenges.
